Kathy Walsh started losing her hair at age
16. Later, raising her daughter and son as a
single parent while working as a dispatcher
for a trucking company, stress worsened the
condition. She tried for years to find a
solution.
Nearly 28 years later, her company remains
the only hair enhancement service in the
Boston area catering exclusively to women.
"We are focused only on women's needs, and
we provide a safe, private environment.,"
says Kathy.
Today, her daughter Nikki -who also has
androgenetic alopecia -- is the company's
president, having worked with Kathleen for
the past 17 years. Mother and daughter are
among 30 million to 40 million women in the
United States with some form of hair loss,
which often carries a stigma.
Today, Nikki proudly continues the
tradition and mission of offering new hair
solutions for women suffering from thinning
hair due to alopecia, cancer, lupus, and
other contributing factors.
We honor Kathy, not only for nearly three
decades of growing PK Walsh into a
nationally recognized hair solution company,
but as
a wonderful mom, grandma, and advocate,
a trustee in Playing For Life Foundation,
dedicated to finding a cure for Crohn's and
Collitis, which Nikki Walsh has long
endured.
This is why we are inviting you to join us

Walsh's retirement celebration. Tickets are
only $10 and all proceeds will go to support
our Playing For Life Foundation. Raffles and
